Do the riesling shake! This is gorgeous, so linear and precise. Needs several more years but is showing wonderful acidity and texture right now.

In that time the floral and mineral notes have not dissipated, but the lime-and-peach fruit has been buoyed by a touch of honey that's really lovely, especially given the great backbone and acidic lift here. Well balanced and thoroughly enjoyable. Keep this for years.

Kastanienbusch. Wow. A unique wine. Just an explosion. Just leaps out of the Glass. Huge concentration of citrus. Great minerality on the palate and long mineral citrus finish. Adheres to the palate. Must try for dry Riesling lovers.

Day 2 notes. Stunning nose of potpourri, deep vivid citrus, honey, tangerine, leather, smoke so complex. Palate is juicy and explosive with deep deep fruit. Mineral and playful yet so deep and serious. Gets to every nook and cranny of ones palate. Delicious.

Apr 28th, 2016Hugely emphatic nose of honeysuckle, citrus, vineyard peach and oodles of minerals. Beautiful nose. Floral/lime notes emanate with air. Palate has razor sharp acidity and the texture is beautiful. What a beautiful silky yet dense and almost treacly palate with a crunchy like texture. This has developed beautifully in bottle since arrival.
