Stuhlmuller Vineyards Block 10 Cabernet Franc 2023, Alexander Valley, California

Ruby/ purple in color with medium plus intensity and a wide purplish rim.

Fruity nose with cherries, sweet raspberries, currents, light oak, chocolates, light earth, herbs, light vegetables and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with cherries, plums, currants, light oak, spices, chocolates, herbs, coffee, licorice, black pepper and tobacco leaf.

Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and raspberries.

This is a very tasty Cabernet Franc from Alexander valley. Nicely balanced and elegant.

Showing nice complexity, although still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 45 minutes of airtime.

This Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc is light and airy. Fruit forward and spicy. Feels true to the variety and Terroir.

A good sipping wine that will also pair nicely with lamb dishes.

Grapes were aged for 18 months in large French oak barrels. A tiny production of only 2,400 bottles.

13.9% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$65.
