Not very Sangiovese, but plenty tasty with pot roast and polenta. Richly fruited, with just enough acid too keep it from feeling blowsy.

Thoroughly enjoyed this perfectly aged Sangiovese. A fuller bodied ver of its old world cousin, so well crafted.

Fantastic! Leathery and earthy, tasted good for young age but has structure and tannins to cellar for a while! Stolpman does it right!

2012 is full of fruit, balanced with acid and finishes with chocolate. Thanks for the introduction Emma!

One of my favorite red wines year after year. They are known for their beautiful rich Syrah, but this is a gem.

Decanted, and in a good place right now. The oak seemed dominant, but not bad. Loads of tar and confit orange peel on the nose. Full bodied and some sweetness on the palate, with ok acidity. Finishes with slightly coarse, but soft tannin. In a good place right now. Sweet and a fair amount of oak, but eminently drinkable...
