Very Old World in style. Nose has striking crushed rock minerality and ripe/tart deep cherry fruit. Little hint of pine forest. Pure and mouthfilling cherry and mineral flavors are jolted with zippy acids. Medium body. Although Carignane is mostly known as a French varietal, this really gives off Italian vibes, like a mixture of a Dolcetto and a Chianti Rufina. Really good.
