Well this is Stags Leap 2013 cab. After decanting 1 hour its ready!!!! The color is dark dark dark. The legs are long and slow. The bouquet is blackberry jam! The initial palate is blackberry, dark currant, and black licorice. The mid palate brings on the spice and chocolate. The finish gives us earth tones of oak and California hillside dirt. If you have never tasted California hillside dirt you should give it a try!!!! Not as volcanic as Oregon and Washington but more salty like Scotland. Yes, Im a scotch lover too! The finish is pepper and spice with a dry finale. Do I need another drink of wine or water ? Uuhhhhh I need the wine, it's phenomenal!!!!
