So, what about a Dutch wine?? Yes, you read it correctly, wine…not beer. They are starting to make wines in the south of the country, Limburg. We visited the St. Martinus winery last September. This was a white blend of Pinot gris and Souvignier gris (I had never heard ofF). It was okay. Had green undernotes and a bit of that agave flavor that I don’t care for much, but I did like the grapefruit/star fruit tangy-ness. It was refreshing, good acidity. A good wine to have when a Dutchy wins the first Tour de France for women!!!
