just as the 2006 sold out, Laina unearthed a small stash of the 2005 at the winery and carried it into the tasting room. Rich, fresh, expansive, & enduring in the long palate. Highly recommended, & very little left.

Strawberry fruit leather, confectionary sugar, dried blueberry, dried flowers, powdered sugar, white pepper. Lost some harmony and acid. I bet this was drinking great for the first 5 years of its life but sadly its a little disjointed and showing a too much oxidation right now.
