Very dark crimson - particularly for a 10 year old wine. Plum Chocolate and a tarry Creosote like note. A medium to full bodied palate of M plus intensity. I have the greatest of respect for Huon Hooke as a wine judge but I think his drinking window of 2011 to 2019 is too conservative. This has the power to go on for at least another 5 years and should show more complexity then. Estimating drinking windows is an inexact science.

Stewed red fruits on nose. Medium to full bodied palate weight but with profound intensity. Aromatic sweet plum aromas and on palate - some volatility. Was expecting a little more interest and complexity from this boutique Barossa producer. A bit too square sided for 10 years of age.
