The 2018 Langhe Nebbiolo is fresh, vibrant and absolutely delicious. Sweet floral and red berry notes are front and center in this gorgeous, translucent Langhe Nebbiolo from Sottimano. In 2018, the fruit came from the Vigna del Parroco section of Basarin. Rose petal, lavender, mint and spice all linger on the finish. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2020)

What a nice wine! I love when a reputable producer have a solid B tier wine. Even better when the wine shows the true characters of the grape. This is such a wine.

A nice langhe nebbiolo in a decent place after 30 mins in the glass. Balanced with some cherry, good acid. Not overly long or anything but a nice wine. Good value.

Provides the stereotypical essence of Nebbiolo . Sottomano, to me is one of the best producers of Nebbiolo in Barbaresco. Plenty of cherry, underbrush and dried roses and violets. Ample tannins are matched by plenty of acidity.
