Fiore Vernaccia di San Gimignano

Great example of how good this varietal can be. Energy, lightness, depth, mineral, yellow fruits, incredible balance. No oak.

Apricot and peach flavors. Vernaccia grape. elegant. Paired well with a pasta dish : penne with tomatoes and arugula.

Had at Tavola in Belmont neighborhood of Charlottesville

I’m vibing on this. Orange zest, minerality, and a hint of herbaceousness. A bit of a bitter, nutty finish. There’s plenty of acidity, but it retains a somewhat round, palate-coating profile. Would recommend.

Smell like marshmallows and lemongrass. Tastes of pineapple at first, with air turns into a more savory walnut and fennel-esque deal. Still with bright melon fruit on the back end and a pleasantly acidic finish

Had at Lupaia. Its ok. Not phenomenal
