Deep ruby colour. Aroma not that strong of warm black fruit raisin and charcoal. Taste is more intense. Black fruit and some tannins. A bit coarse. Has a heaviness that reminds me of cough syrup. (Day 2: much smoother but the heaviness is worse) Lacks acidic highlights and freshness. I don’t have a strong urge to have a second glass
