So, we opened the '85, so might as we'll open the '07 to compare! Obviously a different galaxy. Oak is still present in both nose and palate. Also an earthy, herbal note to the nose. Grippy tannins on the palate, with unctuous black fruit and dark chocolate. Certainly a good choice for red meat, a bit drying on its own, but it has so much going on that its still great on its own.
