Sierra Nevada Brewing Company
Northern Hemisphere Harvest Wet Hop Ale
California, USAHey! Whadyaknow?!? A big batch brew that doesn't suck! Still lacks the mouth feel and complex taste of a small batch craft brew, but in a pinch, this will still do much better than a bottle of (insert name of crappy All-American brew like Bud, Miller or Coors).

2015 version, better than last year, maybe because I got this super fresh, big grassy floral hops, the key thing about this beer that makes it different and unique, is the wet hop process, the fresh hops are picked and delivered to the brewery within 24 hours and put in the tank, a very good example of this process, cascade and centennial hops are used, still one dimensional for me as far as IPA's go, but a very good beer, one worth picking up fresh, fresh is the difference, so I will give it a higher rating than last year

Transports me to a woodsy camping trip in the forests of Northern California. In the aroma, caramel, pine, and resin. Taste is medium bodied and smooth, with biscuity flavors along with grassy bitterness. Well balanced and enjoyable, but too heavily reliant on malt flavors, where I think hops should take center stage.
