Pulled a glass through the Coravin. Way too boozy. Super ripe lots of alcohol. Beautiful fruit but whoa. I may pull the cork and let this air out for a day or two before I drink the rest. Might cruise another 10 years in the cellar with 14.8abv 😳

Smells like stewed strawberries, cloves, fresh cherry. Pale garnet hue. Aerated twice for more pronounced strawberry and pomegranate notes, hibiscus, cola, and mushrooms.

Unfortunately it’s our last bottle of this great wine. Amazed at how fruit forward it still is. Dark fruit and sweetness along with black licorice. Hint of grass. Light fruit on the plate and is getting thin in texture. Had to drink it pretty fast because it fell apart very quickly.

Needed to wait over an hour to let it open up. High alcohol in palate and nose. Dark fruit on the palate. It get earthy as it opens up but starts with dark fruit.

High alcohol but silky in texture. Rich berry with some baking spice. Ready to drink now.
