Tasting group 3/24/19. Tart cherry. Green note. Peppermint. Mouthfilling texture. Short finish. My 5th, group 4th.

Beautiful. Ripe bramble fruit, dark cherry, sweet and ripe but not cloying. Really solid example of Oregon Pinot.

Black cherry cobbler, cardamom, jerky, and loam. Dried violet notes linger in finish. Still showing youthful.

Deep, dark, gamey. All black fruit. Masculine, bacon fat, tar, hot? Much bigger than we expected but a perfect reminder of a great trip to the vineyard.

Earthy dark fruit alcohol on the nose. Chocolate, herbs, dark cherry and a hint of vanilla on the palate Surprised it has held on this long being 11 years old.

Fruit and Earth play across the palate. Fresh acid and drying tannin. Diverse and lengthy finish.

Much, much better than the 2009. The 2008 Shea Estate Pinot is a good example of the best of Willamette Valley.

Block 31. Not much Shea left in my locker. Was looking forward to this. Disappointed. No pop, no complexity.
