Another 4th Friday for the books! What a variety this month!
A meal in a glass, every single time. I always get charcoal and grilled meat on the nose with this wine. Densely packed, the fruit comes through as secondary to me once it reaches the mid palate and finish. Dates, peppercorn, blackberries.

Awesome! Decanted for two hours, but it was much better after four. Lush, rich dark berry fruits, herbs and cinnamon spice accompanied by leather and smoke.
