The first sip comes across a tad chalky but that quickly dissolves into a smooth strong dark cherry flavor with a slightly acidic finish. As it breathes it mellows out. On balance with steak it is good.

Very fruit forward, especially cherry. Opened up and turned quite smooth after a little air time. Good for the price. Would buy again!
