Wow. Such a dynamic range of flavors. Baked apple, light elder flower notes, walnuts, quince, honeyed...so interesting. This auslese was a lot of fun. Still has good acid.

Isn't she lovely! Has aged very gracefully -- has that lively, acidic backbone; cute little tartaric crystals in the bottom of my glass; rich, golden hue; sweet-seeming petrol-ish nose; cleans up unite well for a bone-dry finish despite its Spätlese status; overall, delighted to be drinking this gem with good friends.
