Fascinating rubber, tar, menthol, varnish notes initially, backfilled by subtle bramble fruit notes as it opens up. Medium plus palate, good acidity, menthol, some dried herb and spicy notes on finish with pretty good length. Soft tannins on this elegant-style restrained Cab clocking at 13.5% ABV. Beguiling QPR for ~$8 at #costco and at that price great dinner-pairing wine for a weekday. Complemented nicely paired with an Impossible plant-based burger.

I had Santa Carolina Cabernet several times before and I think they may have changed the label but, same good quality, excellent taste, deep color and wonderful aroma. An all around winner,
