A lot of mineral underpinnings in this wine. Black rocks and baked earth on the nose and palate. Black licorice, smoke, roasted plums, crushed black cherry, fig, cracked pepper, sweet wood, dried flowers, leather, tar, coffee. Complex and so fun to drink. Developed a lot with 2+ hours in the decanter. Tannins are firm, run right down the middle of the palate, and offer this raw/rustic edge to the wine.

Lovely representation of place. Complex layers of fruit and minerality. Blooms deliciously and is well balanced.
