Rudolf Fürst
Klingenberger Spätburgunder

What a nose. Deep berry fruit and very bright. Great whip of acidity. Transparent as fuck.

Needed a lot of air; showed very reduced at first. After some time open, beautifully red fruited, but showing some coffee/toasted coconut notes from the oak. These notes were nice at the outset, combined with a pure sweet strawberry character, but with more time open, the oak sometimes seemed a bit heavy handed. Great acidity, and a hint of strawberry mixed with toasty coconut on the palate. On balance, very nice.
