Blue and black fruit with green bell pepper on the nose and palate, some green olive. A bit hot, alc needs more time to burn off, medium bodied, low acidity, medium tannins. Solid. But not completely balanced.

The slight green veggie note caught me by surprise, though I don’t mind it at all. Other than that, a well made Napa cab. Cassis, black cherry, licorice, dark roasted coffee beans, sage, and hint of violet. Richly textured. Good fruit intensity. Velvety tannins lead to long lightly candied finish.

3/2022. Smooth and flavorful. Not as bold as I thought it would be. This vintage, 2018, has received many good comments but it will probably improve with age.
