A clear step down from their "Rockaway" but a step up from an entry level Rodney Strong Cab. Very woodsy without distinct oak spices except vanilla---and there was lots of that. Deep, dark fruit, grippy tannins, but lacking acidity. All in---not bad.

Old great Sonoma classic, one of those sure thing wines, when you don't want to spend time searching. Great depth, complexity, welcoming opening and strong fruit. Awesome vacation wine!

At the Palm on 50th st for dinner before our show. The 2010 RS Alexander's Crown was recommended by the Wine Director... Home run; perfect match with our steaks! Opened up quickly and drank with a silky finish.
