Really a great blend of Zin, Syrah, and Grenache, this wine showcases the highlights of each grape. Visually it had a brilliant deep, dark and rich color. The nose carries some subtle fruit notes, but loads of leather and some spice. Quite dry and medium bodied, this wine had a healthy bit of acidity to it. While not falling off immediately, the wine didn't linger too long on the palate either. I drank it by itself, but it would definitely have done well paired with a rich meal of some sort. An excellent wine and worth the buy!
