This wine opens with a most intriguing aroma of concentrated (almost compote-like) red berries. Sweet-fruited, in the best possible way; almost reminiscent of Grenache. However the expansive, savory finish says "No! I'm Pinot." What alchemy is at work here? Carbonic, I wonder? So easy to drink!
