Lytton Estate Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel Blend

Very oaky. Dark chocolate, cassis, fruity. I’ve had better vintages. Not sure if 2015 is the best. Would try again. Maybe I opened it too early?

Deep plum color rich dark fruit with slight cherry and hint of tobacco and long finish soft tannins. Excellent with my Lamb.

Strong Zinfandel blend. Very tannic and acidic, but also has strong red fruit flavor and pepper. This wine goes well with lamb and spicy meat. Good, but I’m not a Zinfandel fan.
