Still quite primary both on the nose and the plate with ripe blackberry and stewed plum leading the charge. Deeply concentrated but in no way overly jammy. There are nuances of peppery spicy and earthy elements that prevent it from one dimensional. Delicious but I would hold for another 5 years at least if I have the patience.

Frankly - one of the worst bottles of wine I have tasted in a long long time. No nose, nothing on the palate and water finishes better than this stuff. Cancelling my Ridge memberships tonight!
