Super interesting. Part of a small, natural wine seminar wth Abe Schoener. Crystal clear but orange and earthy with an ever so slight yeasty quality to it.

A Moravian white orange wine (Vesely Oranzove,) this bottle starts with an Intense nose of citrus peel and yeasty bread dough, so intense it almost reminds one of a scented solvent. Gradually opens to reveal wild herbs; thyme, sage, and pine, which mingle with citrus notes on the palate, producing a gorgeous, forest-like melange that feels refreshing, crisp, and deep. Will I get a lot of healthy nutrients from drinking this wine? Yeastiness develops into a kind of beery quality as the wine warms, along with savory tomato leaf and a gritty floral quality.
