Brambly fruit and a touch of pepper, a good and restrained version of California Syrah, but not in the same class as the Horseshoe.

Like no domestic syrah I have ever tasted. Very light and fresh. Olive tapenade, tobacco, meat juice with a light sweet minty finish. Tastes like a syrah/nebbiolo blend. Zero heat.

Wow, best Cali Syrah ever! This is amazing, and will get even better in a few years. Black olives, lardo and some minty, eucalyptus back note to give some freshness.
