Bright red fruit, exquisite minerality, slight tannic pucker. Yum!

Wine is a beast. Classically Rocks olive briny and Huge red fruit. I have to believe there is some Viognier cofermented. The flowers, pepper, fruit and funk are super impressive for the price. ($28?) Listed at 14.5, it's hot enough that I pounded my chest and immediately checked the bottle. A lot to love about the packaging

Rocks lite. As this ages, I get more vegetal cab franc on the nose than pure rocks pickled cabbage, olive brine and black raspberry. The acidity is soft, and what little tannin there was is gone. On the downslope imo. Still, not bad with pulled pork sandwiches.

Normally not a fan of peppery finishes, this is a DELIGHTFUL balance between a rich black/cherry fruit, limestone minerality, and a long but not overpowering white pepper finish. A GREAT value at $24 - just ordered a case! Will be outstanding as a stand alone drinker - or with pork/pasta or summery beef dishes.
