Remoissenet Père et Fils
Rully Chardonnay
Rully, Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy, France2014 one. Cork smelt weird and couldn't put my finger on it. Not much nose to the glass. Tasted first kinda tart like a Granny Smith does. Kept sipping and sniffing and decided the cork was probably like a clovey mulled cider which made me happier about it. Wine smell seemed fresher and taste got less sour as I went down. Pretty nice but largely felt on the sides and back of my tongue - I'm not sure I agree with the woman in the shop that suggested it when I couldn't afford her Montrachet.
