Deidesheimer Riesling

Fooled us all. Entire table called this as Alsatian Riesling. At least we called the varietal correctly! ;-)

Very pale lemon. Medium aroma intensity. Petrol light notes, mineral freshness, zippy citrus flavors High acidity. Deidesheim is a small village in Pfalz best known for its Riesling. Von Buhl has produced quality Riesling for over 160 years and their wines are highly praised by experts worldwide. 2013 is the first vintage of Matthieu Kauffmann, previously of Bollinger Champagne who stepped in as chief winemaker and managing director.
