The nose was a punch in the face of crisp green apple, as it lingered pear, ginger, rain washed concrete, and maybe even wet leaves stuck around. The mouth was dry, acidic insane, citrus, and ready to dance. Lemon, lime zest, pink-tart grapefruit, green Szechuan peppercorns with white pepper, perhaps hints of nutmeg. This guy is feisty and wants to be recognized. Because the peppercorn / gingery lingerings leave you with something really intriguing after a tart mouthful of citrus, it succeeds. Keep that stuff pouring!
