Delicious and smooth. Had it with filet and it was a wonderful match.

Good god, this is disgracefully good. Huge fruits on the nose. Cherries, black currants on the nose. Maple overload on the palate. It’s so viscous and sweet on the palate. A quintessential one night stand. Another gift from, @Mike R 😮

Last night with great friends

Ridiculously delicious cab from Napa blend and Realm

I have had three years of past vintages of this wine and amazingly every year it gets better - bravo Benoit and Juan

Just a small decant and bam - color is that dependable stunning purple like a new purple on an exotic Lamborghini

The smell is rich like the feeling you get when smell fresh baked homemade chocolate chip cookies and you were 8 years old

The palette is just stunning - like the stunning feeling I got when my Red Sox won the World Series after losing three games but came back to take the final four games in 2004 - prefection in a bottle

The legs are the sexy stiletto shaped legs for a wine that you could not imagine - Marilyn Monroe would be jealous

Drink it if you got it and if not get it - it might get better over time but why wait - seriously

An amazing wine is my headline and this is even better than the 2013 and the 2014 - seriously I am in shock on how delicious this was - WOTN and smiled all night long - details are

This bad boy is rich and integrated wine is drinking beautifully right now but omg it will be a 98 or better with some rest - it only needed 90 minutes of decanting and even got better in the glass - more structure, depth and polish than I could have imagined.

Dark red in color, full in body, nose of plum, dark chocolate, and baking spices - tastes of blueberries and vanilla bean with an amazing silky and lingering finish although not extremely long

What sets this wine apart is amazing almost candied fruit forward ripeness - the winemaker Benoit usually does the ripe / polish piece very well along with a chocolatey note but this adds a structure and savory aspect that make it unique and all so distinctive- so glad I have more and I can’t wait to try in a year if I can just keep it out of my mind

Bravo Juan and I will brag about this wine for a long time

Realm Wine dinner with Juan Mercado at Pampelmousse Grille in Del Mar. All wine was en mag. He brought the horses. This was a young, sexy beauty. Delicious silky fruit, rich soil, cedar chips and moonbeams. Each bottle has a unique one of a kind label and the wine was also one of a kind. An exceptionally impressive ‘15 that is strutting right now.

Just off the truck and ready for around a ten year or so hibernation. Still waiting on the 15 Farella via @Shay A. Thank you! 9.7 on the “Moonracer.” Beautiful fruit, texture and body. 9.6 on “The Bard.” The Bard a little bigger wine with more structure & beefier tannins than the Moonracer. Average score 9.65 rounded down for now. Tasted at the property just over a month ago.

This is the 2015 as they poured the Moonracer from decanter. The fruits on the nose & the palate are amazing. On the nose; ruby, dark currants. Blackberries, black raspberries, dark cherries, creamy raspberries, hints of strawberries, black licorice with amazing fresh dark red & purple florals. The tannins are already round and fine but still a little chewy. Dark currants. The fruits are juicy; blackberries, dark cherries, plum, blackberries. Dry crushed rocks, volcanic minerals, light nice spice, layered and not overdone baking spices dominate by vanilla, soft leather, dry stems, wafting herbaceous notes, mint, amazing fresh dark florals with violets, nice round well done acidity, great balance and a really long, well polished, beautiful finish. Just missed wine if the day. Photos of; the Realm tanks staggered tank inversion to save space, barrel room and the soil structure from their To-Kalon Vineyard
