Raul is one of those special and unique producers whose wines stand out in just about any field with others of similar quality. I could fill pages with tasting notes, but I feel it’s more appropriate to simply reiterate that these wines are beautiful, complex, superbly crafted and downright delicious. It is nearly impossible not to drink a whole bottle. I’m giving an extra point or two for the Saint Jacques Mencía cuvée because of the exceptional value it delivers at well under $20. This would embarrass many village level Burgundies at three or even four times the price.

Absolute gusto! Prior: After I Practiced my civil duties , I wanted to ease back in my sipping seat to do some deflecting/reflecting on the last 4 years of this political climate. I can only hope for the best man to win but with this tasty wine in my glass I don't need to stress about who wins because what difference will it really make?! Happy election day everyone!🖐️

Ripe black fruit and a subtle earthy note. Beautiful silky mouthfeel and easy tannins make this super drinkable. This suited grilled chicken thighs perfectly. Great value.

Somehow rustic but in a good sense, an intriguing wine that challenges you to keep discovering more and more its nuances. Full of personality and excellent value for money. Ideal entrance to Raúl Pérez universe.
