Needs a bit of time to open up & to show the expressive fresh cherries, a touch of kirsch, dried orange peel, a touch of grapefruit bitter herbiness, fresh & juicy. Quite fruit forward.
Surprisingly light on the palate. A touch too light maybe. Fresh though. And juicy.

Apr 23rd, 2022Hits your nose like a boxing glove with a complex cocktail of kirsch & ripe blueberries with cloves and gingerbread, nutmeg and all the exotic spices you can name. Some nice earthy, mushroomy notes too, after some time.
On the palate surprisingly fresh (cold vintage) with high herby acidity. The tannins are slowly mellowing (20m in botte, no barriques). Very juicy and highly drinkable for a sfursat. A great wine.
