This 1976 Lopez de Heredia Tondonia White Rioja is not only the best LdH I have ever had... but the best white Rioja hands down and makes my top 10 greatest whites I have had... Old school oxidative style done to perfection. Gold color, honey suckle, lemon custard and almonds with soft texture and bright tang on finish with orange blossom notes left in my head. This is a great wine! And I'm going to try to find more!!!

Still young, almost ageless. Great Rioja Blanca. Nice texture and the slightly oxidative quality does not hide the fruit.
