Listen---first of all I have had many outstanding bottles of Quilceda and we all know they generally need 10 years of bottle age to start shedding their massive tannins--but at 9 years this is a harsh, camphor and cough syrup mess. Audozed for 4 hours because I was trapped without a decanter. Just a disaster in a glass last night. Most of the bottle is left so I will report back when I revisit tonight or tomorrow.

Wonderful. Power and elegance. The nose is so great you can smell this wonderful uwine a foot away from the glass.

Big, big. Face full of fruit. If grapes had balls, it would taste like this, wrapped in oak. Cherries, dark cocoa. Eating a wine.
