Happy Thanksgiving! 1hr+ decant and needed a ton more. Definitely decant this for 3 hours. Wine was dark red with bourbon, alcohol, and cedar on the nose. Over the course of dinner and the next few hours it changed multiple times. It finally finished with a lovely combination of dark cherries, bramble, cedar, and rustic flavors. Medium plus depth and finish. Was awesome!

Nov 23rd, 2023Dark red and purple color. I got mushrooms on the nose, others didn’t. High quality, refined, and deep. Black and blue fruit with integrated oak and terroir. Medium plus finish. Loved it!

Almost black in color, matching the bramble nose. Roses. I get a little campfire and some vegetal notes. Palette is smooth and silky with nice acid. More energy than most QC. Feels properly right bank at the tail end of primary.
