I just love this label on this 2019 Caravan Petite Sirah (aka Durif) which we picked up from Laithwaites as part of research for my ‘Winter Wines’ blog post.

Made by Jimmy Watson Trophy winner (the most prestigious and sought after wine award in Australia) John Quarisa.

It’s a black plum red colour in the glass. Juicy blackberries, pencil lead and tar dominate the nose for me. It’s full of dark juicy flavour with a yummy plum infused finish. It went down a treat!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
