Napa County Merlot

I love Merlot. I really do. A big thank you to those Sideways movie guys for keeping Merlot 30%+ cheaper than Cabs of similar quality.

Hard act to follow but performed well. Rich and mellow. Great with steak.

I couldn't wait! This will be a stunner with 8 years plus in the cellar. Firm black fruits with wonderful barrel tone put this wine in impeccable balance. More please, so I can age it to perfection.

Merlot worth drinking.

Nice wine, still has a little time on it. Baking spices. Good balance of fruit; cherry. Medium body. 9.0+

Lightly fragrant. Definitely requires decanting. Comparison is more smooth. I guess what I mean is that it’s better decanted. Takes of the edge. Definitely has some of the Pride usual notes but it’s not strong. A bit flat in my opinion Dark fruit finish. 9.0

Soft tannins as expected but well structured as a high elevation wine should be. Round and subtlety fruit forward.

Juicy plums, cherries, and blueberries. Gorgeous bouquet. Smooth espresso finish.
