Purple red, moderately extracted pigment. A tad tart, red currant nose, plum with some cherry and red currant in mouth, needs food. Light skin astringency on finish. No tobacco box notes, so a subdued Malbec. Previous vintages have been better, to my reckoning. Still, decent value for a table red. After 90 minutes some raspberry creeps into the flavor profile. Still a tad too tart.
