Worked nicely with grouper and barbecued shrimp, decent acidity and sour Oregon fruit. A little one-note, but an ok pinot at this price point.

A bit tannic for my taste given it is Pinot noir. However I liked the complexity and it went well with the lamb. It was an interesting wine but not typical. Not fruit forward. Lots of secondary tastes. I got more earth than I would have expected, but still, very pleasant. I rated it perhaps a bit low because it was atypical. But don’t let that keep you from tasting it.

Cherry compote and cinnamon ending with a slight finish of mint. Fuller-bodied. Entry level but worth every penny. Some awesome value here, especially if can nab for under $20 at Costco like I did. Comes with a screw cap. I know, I know. I just like pulling a cork. 😬

Very solid effort, great extraction without being over the top: extremely dark & dense, stunning purity of fruit - big time spice accented black cherry, some cola & sassafras and other secondary aromas. Great weight and lingered well on finish.

Roses, red fruit. Dull tannins but fresh thanks to the acidity.
