Deep gold. Persistent tiny bubbles. Brioche apple dumpling on the nose and light bright palate. Firm, mouthwatering acidity imparting an almost tannic mouthfeel. Lingering baked apple finish. Excellent representative of an excellent vintage. A great starter and a percent accompaniment to poultry, seafood, or pork dishes. And it sings in a cream sauce! Drink now through 2038.

A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & Pinot Meunier. Golden straw color, stone fruit aromas with toasty citrus notes, small bead flow and light mousse. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and lemony tones with toasty biscuit notes. Great balance, generous acidity, long finish ending with crisp mineral tones. Drink now!

Brioche, green apple, citrus, and light chalky minerals. Fine elegant mousses. Salivating acidity.
No sign of aging. The best Champaign value around.

This 08’ is just super delicious and classy. See notes from previous bottles.
Hard to resist, but I have to be careful not to open the remaining bottles too soon.

Brioche, green and yellow apple, lime zest, lily, with light toasty touch. Vibrant yet reserved. Well rounded and classy.
From a vintage many consider one of the best ever, this will have a long life ahead.

Pair really well with spicy fried chicken wing. The versatility of Champagne.

Too bad the Bengals loss, but at least the wine is good.

Less than $50 from the superlative 2008 vintage made by an underrated house (IMHO)? I’m all in.
Price aside, this is a beautiful bottling. Bread dough, fresh citrus, green apple, and white flower. Creamy energetic mousse. Dosage seems to be on the higher side resulting, but there is the superb acidity to offer a balanced palate.
Equal parts PN/Chard, all from grand crus. Aged on lees for 9 years.
This is by far the best Champaign buy for me.
