Great as usual. 2012 and it’s already brick colored. Savory!

The Savory

This wine is about as old school as the label suggests. The structure is there, the fruit is on a leash, there are plenty of earthy, musty notes in there, but sadly the tannin is so ferocious that I can't possibly say this is a good wine. It was almost painful. My mouth wilted. My gums bled. Like I'd been sucking on a tree trunk. Severe cotton mouth, not interested in that. - Ross Gardiner
