Notes of cinnamon, a little bitter than a dark chocolate on the finish. Still smells of vanilla on your nose. A long chewy finish.

So this was WELL worth the wait. A 2005 vintage we decanter hour plus. Just opens delightfully with fruit flavor to spare. Supports meat both bloody and cooked.

Wine of the year!. Big, old world nose, dusty. Taste is still young ripe cherry w a long charcoal finish. Can't wait to have it with steak.

Very soft and smooth. Dark cherries, plum and dusty. Ready to drink but just opened.

Bought this almost 5 years ago on our first trip to Napa. Joined a wine club because of it. Luckily we were right, it's still f-ing delicious. Worth saving for our engagement.
