Opened this last night and it revealed little. Now 24 hours later it is showing shyly. Dark fruit bramble aromas taste much lighter and red with a hint of spiceness. But the revelation is syrah bathed in acidity. Flavors so subtle you really have to pay attention to their fleeting essence. Lesson learned. Next time I will let this wine age longer. 10 years +.

2009 vintage. From trollat vines. This is as good as St. Joseph gets. Drinking well already, but will go for decades.
