Did a blind tasting against 2015 Shafer One Point Five Cab (at half the price). The Shafer blew away the Del Dotto, in fact after being opened for an hour and half, the Del Dotto fell apart. Deep Ruby, aromas of dark berry fruits, oak and spice. On the palate flavors of tart black cherry and plum with vanilla, cacao and cedar. Firm tannins, medium finish, lacks depth, ending with cedar and fruit notes. To me, not worth the $190 price tag!

Big fruit, tannins, and acid all in balance.
