Dark purple in color, very tannic, tastes of blackberry and cherry.

V14. Bold. Smokey, eucalyptus, cedar nose. Juicy, black cherry and currant fruit. Dry, slightly herbal and leather finish. Nicely balanced . Good food wine.

Penfolds ain’t messing around! This one is solid.

I get more of the Shiraz than the Cab. Black fruits, plum, and pepper. Solid.

I love a big spicy red and this one is that in spades, more like Australian Shiraz than a #cabernetsaugvinon .

Ain't bad I must say. Shiraz framed up in the structure of a cab. Oak's pretty prominent. Vanilla coke comes to nose first, black fruit, plums, licorice, aniseed, some pepper. Palate's somewhat cabby I feel, not overly complex. Clean wine, almost too clean especially vs the Foillard we had too.

This is the straight cabernet. I could sit here smelling it for days. Stewed rhubarb, vanilla wafer, brandy snaps, blackcurrants and leather are the most noticeable of aromas. The palate opens up more from glass to glass and starts to bring a mocha and liqourice like twist

Little too hot at the moment for me but will be a winner for the bbq crowd.
