Last of a 3 bottle pack.
And this one is the best.
Lovely balance in rusticity and suave sappy sweetness.

Better than previous bottle.
Nice with steak and truffled risotto.
Liked the food better than the wine, though… 😋

Quite woodsy upon opening. Some evolution in the translucent garnet core. Meaty nose, beefblood, stew, spicebox, gingerbread, dried cherry, but also prunes and dates. Soft and round on the palate. Again, that hint of evolution. Very leafy and floral, touch of alcoholic warmth in the back. There's good balance, but it's not an elegant wine. Fine.
